I am lying under a smoky, dented sedan, as a result of a violent impact from a high-speed collision. The crushed front-mirror lays approximately a foot away and splinters of glass shimmer under a pale street lamp nearby. The car's once vibrant red paint is now marred with ugly scrape marks, stark against the night's darkness. There's a noticeable imprint where I hit — an unsettling reminder of the accident's severity.
