canyoning valbonedal national park
A deep and narrow gorge in Valbona Valley National Park, Albania, fashioned over centuries by fast-flowing waters. The canyon walls stretch high into a blue sky with wisps of clouds. They are comprised of varied layers of grey and brown rock. Patches of green moss and small plants find their home within these crevices. The clear, crystal blue river cascades steadily over the uneven stones at the bottom of the canyon. The surrounding landscape is lush with tall, dense forests of pine and beech trees. Overhead, a golden eagle soars, symbolizing the rich biodiversity of the park.
