canyoning valbonedal national park
A deep, winding canyon carved into the landscape of Valbona Valley National Park, Albania. The canyon features rugged, steep walls made of grayish-brown rock that rise high above a narrow river. The river stream courses briskly with frothy white water, cutting off at the northern point. Above, a clear blue sky peeks through the canyon opening. On the banks, patches of green shrubs and tree clusters, with predominance of oak and maple trees, add to the ruggedness of the scenery. Here and there, patches of sunlight bathe sections of the canyon, warming the rocks and causing the river to sparkle. Mountains protrude majestically on the horizon, their peaks shrouded in a slight morning mist.
