Haring party

A gathering of individuals participating in a traditional Dutch herring feast. They are located outdoors, with a long wooden table stretching across the scene. Several red and white checkered tablecloths are spread over the table. On the table, there are glasses filled with Dutch gin (jenever), and large silver platters piled with raw herring - a traditional Dutch delicacy. White porcelain dishes bear small, diced onions and sliced pickles, the common accompaniments to herring. People are furnished
