Mieriks wortel

Mierikswortel (horseradish) is a perennial plant known for its white, tapered root. The plant rises about a meter high with large, bright green leaves that are crinkled and elongated. Below the ground, there is the main, white root that is thick and rough with smaller roots growing out from it. Keep in mind the color and texture of the root - it tends to be off-white or pale yellow and is often bumpy or uneven.
